Behind the Scenes


This is a post documenting my progress for this walking simulator game. During the process, I used Unity while also sticking with low poly assets for the duration of the game. I also was able to include audio to help create a more immersive experience. With the use of audio, I also created triggers using C# so that the player can experience a different feeling when activating it.

The whole process of developing the game has been fun but also allowed me to learn a lot of new aspects about developing a game and how I can approach it in the future. I definitely learned a lot and will apply some of my working processes to future projects.

The most challenging part about creating this game was making the scale of each asset believable. Since you begin as a very small person, it can be hard to envision each asset as big as they need to be.
